Average Dadvice: I am just an average dad from a small town in Southern Illinois trying to pass along lessons learned to my next generation. I have worked in many different industries, done many different things, and have lived in several different places around the country. I am now 26 years old, back in my hometown, married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 2 kids running our lives. I started writing these letters to them for when they get older, so that I can teach them the lessons they are teaching me, as well as others I have learned along the way.
